Shift: Schedule is Monday‑Friday days. Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Key Responsibilities- Calibrate and repair instrumentation on machines and equipment with minimal downtime
- Perform maintenance and calibration on lab, production, utility, and building systems
- Troubleshoot instrument failures and recommend effective repair solutions
- Support manufacturing and facilities teams with diagnostics and issue resolution
- Work independently on routine tasks and follow general guidance for new assignments
- Maintain compliance with GMP and safety standards during all operations
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and manage maintenance activities
- Document work performed in CMMS
- Complete additional duties as assigned to support team and site goals
- Completion of a 2-year technical program in Instrumentation or Industrial Electronics, or equivalent Military PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) training required
- Minimum 4 years of experience in process instrumentation and control, in a GMP environment
- Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation principles and technologies
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Drawings)
- Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Computers) and DCS (Distributed Control System) control systems and instrumentation bus technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of CMMS and control system programming
- Experience working in a cleanroom or highly regulated pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environment preferred

The salary for this position is expected to range between $77,000 and $143,000/year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
