Biomanufacturing Associate

Piper Health & Sciences is currently looking for aBiomanufacturing Associatein Durham, NC. This rolewill be joining a groundbreaking biotech company dedicated to providing products to treat life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities for the Biomanufacturing Associate include:

· Prepare and maintain documentation in addition to assisting with daily biomanufacturing activities.

· Properly inspect, process, and perform surgical preparations of primary cell/tissue samples.

· Troubleshoot lab instrument issues and ensure the maintenance and calibration of instruments.

· Prepare and assemble required materials per production schedule.

· Perform cleaning and sanitization of cleanroom areas in compliance with GxP guidelines.

· Participate in routine cGMP training to ensure compliance.

· Receive, inspect, and handle raw materials per process orders.

Qualifications for the Biomanufacturing Associate include:

· 0-2 years of professional and/or internship experience in a regulated laboratory environment.

· Cell culture experience in a GxP/GLP/GMP laboratory environment is preferred.

· Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

· Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, Biology, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, or similar field is required.

Compensation for the Biomanufacturing Associate includes:

· Salary Range: approximately $22.00 - $25.00 hourly, commensurate with experience.
