CTG is seeking to fill a Depot Technician I position for our client. Location
Durham, NC
Duration12+ months, with possibility for extension
Duties- Diagnose and repair point-of-sale computer equipment, including printers, displays, system units, and components
- Use host-based systems to report work performed and parts used
- Perform high-quality repairs and maintain accurate records
- Train new employees on repair and system processes
- Assist with pick/pack/ship of components to meet customer orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Minimum 1 year experience in electronics repair or assembly
- Ability to follow testing scripts and document processes accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools and repairing small product components
- General computer skills
- Strong organizational, process-driven, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform high-output, quality work
- Preferred: experience in a computer hardware repair environment
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, stoop, bend, squat, reach, and twist as required throughout the workday
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
