Industrial Maintenance Team Lead

Accentuate Staffing has partnered with an established manufacturing organization that is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Team Lead to support its production operations. The role is critical in ensuring that equipment and facility systems run efficiently, directly impacting production output and overall plant performance. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience along with the ability to lead by example on the shop floor.

This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, managing preventive maintenance initiatives, and supporting facility operations. Success in this position requires strong problem‑solving skills, attention to safety standards, and the ability to collaborate across teams to meet production and maintenance goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily maintenance activities while actively performing troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep on production equipment and facility systems
  • Oversee and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
  • Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships to ensure timely availability of critical parts and services
  • Support safety initiatives, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in training and documentation processes
  • Coordinate maintenance and compliance for company vehicles, forklifts, and related equipment, including scheduling and inspections
  • Assist with facility improvements, equipment upgrades, and cross‑functional projects that enhance operational efficiency
Requirements
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong hands‑on experience with mechanical systems, electrical components, and equipment troubleshooting and repair
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience managing maintenance schedules, inventory, and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
  • Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
