Job Description
Night shift 12.5‑hour rotation (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) on a 2‑2‑3 schedule. The Vaccine Manufacturing Facility Production Associate supports the vaccine manufacturing process through hands‑on processing activities, executing aseptic requirements and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices in a self‑directed team environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with operations and support personnel, performing manual and automated processing of vaccine manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting.
- Execute documentation and clerical functions for product accountability and traceability.
- Maintain, inventory, and transport required processing equipment, materials, supplies, and products.
- Operate computer‑controlled process equipment (e.g., washer, autoclave, vial filler, lyophilizer, capping/inspection machines).
- Assist in equipment troubleshooting.
- Perform housekeeping, facility sanitization, and decontamination per procedures.
- Complete in‑process testing and inspections supporting manufacturing, validation, and development processes.
- Identify and address compliance, environmental, safety, and process deviations and report to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain, clean, and prepare equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Schedule and perform environmental monitoring, record results, and coordinate sample delivery to laboratories with Quality and Logistics.
- Attend and actively participate in safety, housekeeping, lean six‑sigma, and other training initiatives.
- Serve on safety, quality, and other committees as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Life Science or Engineering preferred with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to work 12‑hour night shifts on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Successful completion of aseptic gowning qualification.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy (internet browsers, e‑mail, word processing).
- Degree in Life Science or Engineering (Bachelor’s or Associate’s).
- Bio Works Certificate or experience in an FDA‑regulated industry.
- Experience with manufacturing system applications, electronic batch records, environmental monitoring, and sampling.
$57,900 – $91,200, based on qualifications and experience.
