Primary ResponsibilitiesAssess various commercial, industrial, and home user electronics. This can include commercial networking appliances and server equipment, industrial computers and purpose built technology in addition to mass produced retail grade products. Technicians will be responsible for disassembly of electronics and sorting harvested components.
Familiarity with home computers and experience building/repairing PCs not required but a big plus.
- Follow all safety procedures
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time while working
- Safely use hand tools and basic power tools (hand drill, impact driver)
- Break down electronic and computer equipment to remove technological components
- Sort raw materials
- Palletize finished product for shipping
- Stage finished product for loading
- Move raw materials to warehouse storage
- Responsible for quality control of company product
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
- Check in equipment received in warehouse according to company procedure
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Other general warehouse duties as assigned
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.
- Clean background check.
- Willingness for background check and drug screening.
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 75 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
