Job Summary
Under close supervision, this position is responsible for gaining foundational knowledge to assist with ensuring parts are available to truck and trailer technicians for repairs. The incumbent will assist in the management of inventory stock levels, perform audits, and submit orders to maintain an adequate supply of parts. Maintain information systems and process core and warranty returns according to Company requirements.
This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.
Applicants can be considered for I, II, or SR level Technician depending on verified years of experience and position availability.
Key Responsibilities- Shadow a senior team member to learn how to fulfill parts requests by technicians and ensure parts are properly charged to the unit under repair.
- Observe all Company safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash and hazards.
- Conduct cycle counts as required.
- Receive inbound shipments of parts and fuel to ensure proper quantity ordered and free of damage; stock inbound parts to the proper storage location and update information systems.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and up to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and valid driver's license.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic deductive reasoning skills.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient active listening skills.
- Proficient organizational skills.
- Proficient time management skills.
- Self‑motivation.
- Ability to fulfill physical requirements of the job including lifting above 50 lbs, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE).

CompensationFactors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
