A Day in the Life- Follow all safety processes and procedures in alignment with Thermo Fisher Scientific safety protocols
- Participate in safety training and identify/report potential safety concerns
- Apply PPI Lean tools such as Daily Management Boards, 5S, Standard Work, and Kaizen to improve efficiency
- Perform material handling activities including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials
- Conduct receiving inspections and store products in designated locations
- Pick orders accurately and prepare shipments, including inspection of orders and shipping documentation
- Complete warehouse tasks such as equipment maintenance, calibration, temperature monitoring, pest control, and housekeeping
- Follow ISO 9001 Quality System procedures and cGMP guidelines
- Meet operational and productivity standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in warehousing and material handling
- Preferred:
Forklift experience or ability to become certified within 30 days
- Experience with warehouse operations, RF scanning, inventory management, and shipping/receiving
- Familiarity with logistics scheduling (LTL) and cycle counts
- HAZMAT shipping/handling experience preferred
- Dip tube exchange experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push/pull materials and operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts
