1st shift – Temp to hire

Stockroom worker

Candidates will need basic math skills, be on their feet quite a bit, and be available to work overtime.

• Assess material needs and develop forecasts for the assigned production area at the beginning of the shift and order materials to support the production schedule.
• Transport materials, including raw materials, components, packaging materials, finished goods, and/or scrap, to and from the production floor.
• Complete required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as intercompany bills of lading.

• Prepare outgoing materials using various methods including scanning, labeling, wrapping.
• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods, and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift or pallet jack.
• Post weights and shipping charges.

Acquires basic job skills and learns company policies and procedures; generally has little or no prior relevant training or work experience.

Follows established procedures to accomplish tasks.
