Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our client, a leading technology support organization, is seeking a PC Repair Technician to join their team. As a PC Repair Technician, you will be part of the Repair Center supporting technical repair operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: PC Repair Technician
Location: Durham, NC
Pay Range:
Shift: Shifts available between 7am-7pm, including rotational Saturdays
What's the Job?
- Perform bench repairs on point of sale equipment and other manufacturer products
- Use diagnostics, mechanical tests, and visual inspections to identify defects and determine necessary repairs
- Replace parts, clean equipment, and log repair activities accurately in host-based systems
- Assist in training new staff members on repair procedures and system-based tasks
- Support inventory management through pick/pack/ship of parts and maintain a clean work environment
What's Needed?
- Minimum 1 year of experience in electronics repair or assembly
- Soldering experience
- Ability to follow testing scripts and accurately document process activities
- Good knowledge of hand tools and small product component repairs
- Strong organizational skills and process-driven mindset
- Basic computer skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
