BGA Re-work Technician
Join our team in Durham, NC, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and thriving tech scene. As a BGA Re-work Technician, you will be responsible for reworking PCBAs and components, performing a variety of duties in accordance with your training, experience, and skills. You will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager.
Responsibilities- Review the daily rework schedule with the manufacturing supervisor.
- Perform repairs on PCBs based on the daily schedule.
- Validate materials and required documentation for work orders.
- Train new hires on SOPs and other procedures as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Skilled at removing parts from PCBAs and using solder equipment.
- Proficient in hand soldering, including jumper wires.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand work orders and manufacturing instructions.
- Accuracy in documentation.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
- Ability to solve practical problems using common sense.
- Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1.5 years of extensive BGA rework experience, with BGA rework comprising 90%-100% of daily activities in a professional environment.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment.
