Assembly TechnicianOntic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world's aviation leaders. Ontic's Creedmoor, NC site manufactures high-quality electro‑mechanical products supporting commercial, military, and general aviation platforms. With over 1,300 employees across multiple global locations, we continue to grow while supporting legacy and next‑generation aerospace programs. Our team is looking for an Assembly Technician to join our Operations team. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work an onsite schedule in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

Qualifications- Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military training, or a minimum of two years of experience in an electro‑mechanical assembly or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly documentation
- Experience using electronic test, inspection, and calibration equipment
- Hands‑on manufacturing and shop floor experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production fabrication and assembly processes
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing, assembly, or process‑related issues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
- Experience working with ERP, MRP, or MES systems – preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production environment
- Proven ability to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Assemble parts into subassemblies and finished electro‑mechanical units using engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Perform testing and inspection of products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, frequency generators, multimeters, calibration equipment, and other electronic test equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rework units that fail standard testing requirements
- Assist engineering with troubleshooting, product modifications, and repair of non‑conforming products
- Perform calibration, in‑line inspection, and final inspection activities
- Complete production documentation and maintain accurate manufacturing records
- Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing process issues while supporting continuous production improvements
- Follow company workmanship, FOD, quality, and documentation standards
- Maintain compliance with production schedules, manufacturing procedures, and ERP/MRP/MES business systems
- Support production requirements including overtime and alternate shifts when needed
