Process Technician- Filling; Nights

Responsibilities

• Safely operate highly automated equipment used to fill syringes and perform required area cleaning.
• Model current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support the Line Lead in developing operators and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.

• Adhere to RTP Plant safety policies/procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow SOPs and current GMPs to ensure product quality.
• Support leadership on the manufacturing floor to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
• Proactively monitor documentation and product quality; document activities and report issues to supervision.
• Support troubleshooting; serve as a reliable point of contact for issue escalation.
• Assist Supervisor in development and training of shift operators.
• Improve safety performance, reduce deviations, improve productivity, and ensure training compliance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience (education may substitute with manager discretion).

• Demonstrated ability to train and coach others.
• Effective written/verbal communication.
• Flexibility and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills (desktop software).
• 3+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or equivalent regulated industry.
• Scientific/technical degrees or certifications; CGMP knowledge.
• Experience with solution filling equipment and/or isolator technology; pre‑filled syringe (PFS) technology.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and electronic batch release; lean manufacturing knowledge.

• Position is for the Lilly Research Triangle Park site.
• Wear safety equipment.
• Work 12-hour night shifts (2‑2‑3 schedule); work off‑shift for training; work overtime as required; travel
