Utility- 12 Hour Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Keep the molding floor supplied with cartons and all WIP items needed.
• Read instructions on the production order and packing guide and pack product as described or as instructed by the Molding Supervisor.
• Check that each skid pulled has been initialed by an inspector.
• Remove finished product from the packing stations and transport it via pallet jack to the staging area or the stretch‑wrap machine.
• Maintain a count of finished product on boxes, gaylords, or full skids and verify this count with the supervisor at shift end.
• Inform oncoming staff of the current box number you are on.
• Keep a record of all scrapped product by mold and machine, verify the scrap count at shift end, and provide the numbers to the Utility or Supervisor.
• Move scrap to the collection area.
• Maintain the work area and any related areas in an orderly, clean, and safe manner, ensuring that only the materials needed for the job remain in the working area.
• Relieve Inspectors as needed per supervisor or schedule.
• Be familiar with all ISO, GMP, and SQF guidelines and instructions related to your work.

• Previous utility experience is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack with proper certification, safely.
• Knowledge of SQF guidelines and ISO procedures.

The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $17.50 per hour, but may vary up to $20.50 per hour depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
