We're partnering with a leading precision manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support advanced machining operations within a fast-paced production environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong CNC programming expertise who enjoys improving manufacturing processes, collaborating with engineering teams, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, modify and optimise CNC programs for turning and milling operations
  • Create efficient machining strategies using G-code and CAM software
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T requirements
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and machine operators to improve machining processes
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and optimise cycle times
  • Develop tooling concepts, fixture designs and setup documentation
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials, tooling lists and machining documentation
  • Work with tooling suppliers to improve machining performance and reduce manufacturing costs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across production
  • Develop standard work estimates and machining rates through time studies
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' CNC programming and machining experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate's Degree preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of G-code programming
  • CAD experience is essential
  • CAM software experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
