Metal Fabrication Machine Operator

We are currently looking for a dedicated Metal Fabrication Machine Operator to join our production team. • Utilize various metal fabrication machinery to complete production tasks.
• Configure and run equipment in alignment with specific job orders and output goals.
• Ensure the safe and precise loading, alignment, and processing of all metal components.
• Interpret and apply technical data from blueprints, shop drawings, and instructional documents.
• Verify that all completed parts meet quality standards and precise dimensional requirements.
• Execute routine machine calibrations and resolve minor operational issues.
• Utilize appropriate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Contribute to a tidy and organized workspace to improve overall efficiency.
• Help maintain a secure working environment by strictly adhering to all safety and production protocols.

• Prior background working within a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting.
• Familiarity with machinery such as press brakes, laser tables, CNC fabrication tools, Voortman systems, or related equipment is highly valued.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical shop drawings and blueprints.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring devices, including calipers and tape measures.
• Demonstrate a high level of precision to ensure superior quality control.
• Promote a culture of safety by working carefully around heavy machinery and material-handling equipment.
• Experience in welding, machine operation, or general fabrication is considered an asset.

This position is located in Durham, NC 27517, with a pay range of $20–$21 per hour.
