MEMA’s Strategic Communications team is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated strategic communications coordinator to support key digital marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional looking to gain hands‑on experience in email marketing, content management, and general marketing operations within the vehicle supplier industry.

• Support the strategic communications team in developing, proofreading, formatting and aligning with brand guidelines for content in email, newsletters, website updates, socials and other digital platforms.
• Assist in building, testing and sending email campaigns using MEMA’s email marketing system (EMS), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including the development and execution of email automation workflows.
• Assist in posting website content and learning the basics of MEMA’s content management system (CMS), Drupal.
• Collaborate with the team to create engaging and informative marketing materials that align with MEMA’s communication goals.
• Help manage and organize email lists, segment audiences, and track performance metrics for emails, web and social engagement.

• 2+ years of experience working in communications, marketing, or related field.
• Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms and key communications tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sprout, Feathr, Drupal, Canva, etc.).
• Understanding of content development best practices across email, web, and social platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with ability to convey complex topics to a wide range of audiences.
• Basic knowledge of marketing metrics and reporting concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of social media platforms (Linked In, Facebook, You Tube, Twitter) and their role in digital marketing.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a distributed team.
• Experience working in the automotive industry is a plus.

This is a hybrid role based in Southfield, MI, Research Triangle Park, NC, or surrounding areas.
