The Content Manager will be responsible for creating and managing a variety of content across multiple formats including video, emails, social media posts, blog posts, case studies, eBooks, sales whitepapers, and more. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B content development, content distribution planning, and metrics analysis to guide decision-making. Familiarity with Hub Spot and Salesforce is essential, as is the ability to support the creation and execution of fully integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
Experience in the energy industry is preferred.
(Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B content marketing.
- Experience building productive working relationships with engineering,
architecture, and other technical teams. - Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital content
strategies. - Proficient in using Hub Spot and Salesforce for content management and
marketing automation. - Experience in producing web and podcasts including proficiency in Adobe
Premiere or other editing tools. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct interviews with technical staff and executives to extract
valuable insights. - Creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills to make data-driven
decisions. - Experience working with external vendors and agencies managing marketing
materials. - Curiosity driven with a willingness to learn about the energy industry and
mechanical infrastructure.
- Implement a full funnel, omnichannel content marketing strategy.
- Craft and manage a diverse range of content, including blogs, white
papers, eBooks, data reports, and other published materials. - Create content distribution plans to maximize reach and engagement.
- Analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to
optimize strategies.
- Conduct customer and technical staff interviews to produce multimedia
content packages. - Maintain brand voice and standards.
- Draft and produce both longform and digestible video content.
- Work with web team on content management of the website.
- Coordinate quarterly marketing strategies with internal and external
stakeholders.
- Help identify new marketing channel opportunities and create content
tailored for these platforms. - Manage brand marketing tasks and collateral updates, especially during
ongoing rebranding efforts. - Help run fully integrated marketing campaigns covering both traditional
and digital channels.
- This position is hybrid.
- Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones
(Central/Eastern/Mountain/Pacific), if necessary. - Be flexible for after-hours tasks, as needed.
