Overview:The Marketing Coordinator is a permanent part-time position reporting to the Head of Marketing, managing day-to-day functions across the CBC Real Estate brands:
American Tobacco Campus, Rocky Mount Mills, American Underground, and CBCRE needs. We're looking for someone with experience and a solid grasp of social media (creating content, posting, engaging in and managing conversations, and tracking performance), email marketing and website management. This position requires good written and verbal communication, basic graphic design proficiency, and professionalism working with stakeholders like tenants, retailers and coworkers.
This is a part-time role averaging 20-25hrs per week, with a requirement of being onsite.
Essential Functions:

- Social Media. Create and post content, engage in and manage relevant conversations, and track performance of key brands across platforms (ATC, RMM and AU - IG, FB, LI; CBCRE - LI only)
- Email Marketing. Create and send ATC newsletters (minimum 1x/month) and as-needed emails to ATC internal community and external audiences in Mailchimp.
- Fan Connect. Manage requests from tenants, retailers and others for use of three digital kiosks across American Tobacco Campus. Upload and schedule graphics. Create and edit content as needed per guidelines.
- Websites. Manage Events calendar and listings for in Wordpress. Make timely updates to site as needed, working with external contractor for any technical issues that arise.
- Minimum 5-7 years of digital marketing experience, either with a company/organization or advertising/marketing firm.
- Experience managing social media accounts, especially on Instagram, Facebook and Linked In.
- Experience creating, posting and scheduling content (static and video); engaging in relevant conversations with other accounts; managing sensitive social conversations (in collaboration with manager and team members); and tracking performance across platforms.
- Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns in Mailchimp or similar platform.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic graphic design proficiency in Canva and Adobe Suite (Express, Photoshop).
- Experience doing basic video edits in social platforms and standard phone software.
- Undergraduate college degree or equivalency.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Excellent graphic design skills (in Canva or Adobe Suite) a plus
- Direct experience with Wordpress and Mailchimp a plus.
- Direct experience with Meta Business Suite a plus.
- College and graduate degree in marketing a plus.
- This is mostly a desk job requiring significant time in front of a computer.
- Also requires some face-to-face meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Clear vision and hearing required for meetings, presentations, and reviewing financial documents.
- Ability to move about an office environment and attend meetings in various office locations.
- The role is typically performed in a professional office environment.
- Occasional light, local travel may be necessary to meet with stakeholders or visit company-owned properties.
- A pre-employment drug screening is required.
