OverviewECU Health Physicians and ECU Health General Surgery-Roanoke Rapids are seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join an established surgical practice. Applicants with at least 2 years of experience in general surgery in both inpatient and outpatient settings are required. Roanoke Rapids offers an excellent work-life balance with access to Lake Gaston for fishing and boating.
Responsibilities- Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities including rounding and inpatient surgical consults
- Minor procedures and seeing patients in an outpatient clinic
- Collaborate with a team of 3 surgeons
- Built-in referral network and shared leadership within ECU Health Physicians
- Monday – Friday schedule, 8 am – 5 pm
- No call responsibilities
- NP or PA with at least 2 years of general surgery experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- BLS and ACLS required
- Ability to work in a structured surgical practice with a focus on patient care
