Program OverviewThe DUHS SRNA program is intended to provide RN's the opportunity to attend (or are already attending) an accredited school of nurse anesthesia. RN's must apply and be accepted into this program.
Program Stipend and Incentives- $45,000 lump sum payment to the SRNA while in school in return for a 36‑month commitment upon graduation from CRNA school.
- New Grad base salary increased to $202,950.
- $60,000 hiring incentive (paid in six equal installments – $10,000 every six months over 36 months).
- FTE CRNAs in a hospital setting receive a $15,000 annual stipend for 1.0 FTEs (or prorated for less than 1.0 FTEs) paid monthly based on FTE status.
- $2,500 annual CME allowance for 1.0 FTEs, prorated for those working less.
- Up to $8,000 relocation budget for CRNAs whose permanent residence is 50 miles or more from the Duke facility.
BSN is required. Must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program from a school of nurse anesthesia approved by the State Accrediting Agency and the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
ExperienceAt least 2 years of critical care experience to be accepted into the program.
LicensureMust have current RN licensure.
