Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Psychiatric/Behavioral Health RN for an ED-based behavioral health position requiring a NC or Compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Job Details

• Behavioral Health RN role embedded within the Emergency Department (ED),

• Adult psychiatric/behavioral health patient population,

• Patient ratio of 1:6,

• Rotating 12-hour shifts on a week-to-week basis, alternating nights (19:00-07:30) and days (07:00-19:00),

• Every other weekend required,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS certification required; CPI certification required (may be completed onsite if not already held),

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience strongly preferred,

• Behavioral health nursing experience required; ED RNs with behavioral health experience will also be considered,

• Level 1 trauma experience required for this ED-based position,

• One supervisory professional reference from within the past year required for consideration,

• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration,
