• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within three months)
