Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position at a hospital-based endoscopy unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent endoscopy experience and an NC or Compact RN license in hand.

Job Details

• Hospital-based endoscopy unit with 3 procedure rooms open daily, along with 4 pre-op and 4 post-op rooms,

• Standard procedures only - no advanced endoscopy procedures are performed in this department,

• Fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover and anesthesia support available for the majority of cases,

• Primary schedule is Monday-Friday, days (5x8-hour shifts), with shift start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM,

• On-call coverage required on a rotating basis for nights, weekends, and holidays,

• Occasional weekend and weeknight shifts may be required,

• May be required to stay late on a rotating basis to complete the daily procedure schedule,

• Epic EMR - experience required,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications in hand,

• Minimum 2 years of recent GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required,

• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration,

• 1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered with strong GI/Endoscopy experience,

• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be subject to a different pay rate,

• Royal blue scrubs required,

• Orientations are held bi-weekly,

• Flu vaccine is required from October 31 through March 31, with no exemptions accepted
