Description Of WorkThe position supervises licensed practical nurses as well as health care technicians. The primary focus of this position includes but is not limited to providing active programming and ensuring safety of our patients, which is driven by individual patients’ treatment plans.

Salary Range: $61,177 - $91,767
Recruitment Range: $70,000 - $85,000
- A sign-on bonus of $10,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the Budget Approval.
Candidates meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.
The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) / Management Preferences are not required. Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
- Ability to independently plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Ability to lead a team; skill in delegation and making assignments.
- Ability to communicate information to patients, families, and staff in a concise and descriptive manner, verbally, in writing or by demonstration.
- Ability to appropriately respond to emergency situations.
This position is exempt from all provisions of NC General Statute Chapter 126 with the exception of Articles 6 and 7. State Human Resources Act (GS 126) applies. This position is designated as mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
QualificationsMinimum
Education And Experience:
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
