CompensationHourly: $36.00 – $39.00;
Retention Bonus: $12,000
The RN oversees medical, psychiatric, substance abuse, and nursing care for individuals served, acting as a clinical liaison until enrollment in other services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy:
Coordinate services with public and private community health, mental health, and social agencies; assist in service planning; conduct assessments and treatment plans; provide individual and family counseling; develop educational curricula; supervise nursing treatment and monitoring; respond to crisis calls; coordinate outside medical and nursing support services. - Compliance &
Risk Management:
Administer medication per protocol; complete clinical documentation; stay abreast of federal and state regulations and RI policies; adhere to compliance standards in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes, and medical care. - Additional Duties:
Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education & Licensure
:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as RN;
Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred; valid state‑specific RN license (compact preferred). - Experience
:
Minimum 1 year in a behavioral health setting. - Skills
:
Knowledge of psychiatric medications; basic computer skills; attention to detail; problem‑solving; assessment and treatment planning; verbal and written communication; listening skills; documentation; trauma‑informed care (preferred); bilingual (preferred); pass de‑escalation training; meet driving policy if required. - Miscellaneous
:
Applicants 18+; travel as required; maintain confidentiality (HIPAA); second‑chance employer; pass background check; substance‑abuse testing; education verification; fingerprint clearance; three‑year motor vehicle report if driving; meet insurance requirements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment- Physical:
Close‑to‑eye work, substantial wrist/hands/fingers motion, frequent sitting/standing/walking; may lift up to 20 pounds. - Environment:
Office or behavioral health facility; contact with agitated or confused individuals; travel across region.
- Education:
Accredited School of Nursing RN;
Bachelor’s preferred. - Licensure:
Valid state RN license. Additional requirements vary by state.
