Registered Nurse (RN), Coordinator Electrophysiology (EP)
Fulltime: Days
Sign‑on bonus: $20,000
Schedule- 10‑hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
- No weekends, no calls, no holidays
- Revolving last day schedule
Work as part of a cardiac procedures team, carrying out plans of care based on assessments and clinical recommendations in a team‑oriented environment. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, patient education, and independent decision‑making. The RN will receive training to monitor pacing protocols with EP physicians on Abbott Workmate, manage arterial and venous sheaths, and perform procedures in a sterile environment.
- Perform permanent pacemaker implantation, BiV‑ICD, BiV pacemakers, and Micra pacemaker procedures.
- Conduct ablations for atrial fibrillation/flutter and cryo‑ablations.
- Manage supra ventricular tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia.
- Implant loop recorder watchmen.
- Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide age‑and‑condition‑appropriate patient care.
- Conduct timely and accurate documentation of medical necessity.
- Complete and revise the interdisciplinary care plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
- Current state RN license.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire.
- 1‑3 years of critical care or EP/CL experience preferred.
