Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, PRN – As Needed

Harris Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, offers comprehensive care across 29 states. In this role, you will provide compassionate care for patients in a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

• Current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
