Bull City Family Medicine & Pediatrics, a respected independent primary care practice in Durham, NC, is seeking a full or part-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative clinical team. We provide comprehensive family medicine and pediatric care with a strong emphasis on continuity, prevention, and whole-person wellness. - 100% Outpatient Family Medicine & Pediatrics
- Full-time Schedule or part-time (3 days/week)
- On-Site Role
- 1 weekend per month required
- Salary and benefits negotiable based on experience and hours worked
- Benefits eligibility for clinicians working more than 22 hours/week
- Modern EHR supporting efficient documentation and care coordination
- Broad Scope of Practice: preventive care, chronic disease management, acute visits, and pediatric care
- Supportive Clinical Environment with experienced physicians and long-tenured staff
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and medical histories
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide patient education and preventive care counseling
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
- Current North Carolina licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical judgment
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a diverse patient panel in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Salary and benefits negotiable based on experience and hours worked
