About the Role

Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will provide hands‑on resident care while supporting the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered outcomes.

We are looking for a nurse who values teamwork, consistency, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of residents every day.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and clinical leadership
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with facility policies
  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes or concerns to the RN
  • Perform routine clinical duties including vital signs, wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
  • Reinforce resident and family education as directed by the RN
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation
  • Support individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well‑being
What We’re Looking For
  • Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Strong clinical observation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
  • Compassionate, dependable, and team‑oriented mindset
