Job SummaryWe are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to collaborate with attending physicians, collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations, and provide direct patient care. The role primarily works Monday–Friday day shift with flexible hours and occasional rotational on‑call for emergent surgical cases.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical and surgical problems; record all data for physician review.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, document findings, write progress notes, and prepare patient workups and summaries.
- Order and schedule laboratory and diagnostic studies, explaining necessity and procedure details to patients.
- Carry out therapeutic procedures such as spinal taps, wound suturing and dressing changes; monitor patient progress and report to supervising physician.
- Participate in basic science and clinical research, prepare statistical reports, provide recommendations, and train new personnel.
- Cover APPs in neurovascular specialty and attend multispecialty care meetings.

:- NPs:
Accredited Nurse Practitioner program with Master’s in Nursing. - PAs:
Accredited Physician Assistant program;
Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred.

: BLS required. - License
:- NPs:
Current or compact RN license in NC; national NP certification within 6 months of hire. - PAs:
Licensed in NC and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
- NPs:
- Experience
: 1+ years of APP experience strongly preferred.
Monday–Friday, day shift with flexibility to meet clinic needs.
