Urgent Care NP / PA Provider

• Board‑certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Valid BLS certification
• Active North Carolina provider license in good standing
• Minimum one year of provider experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, or primary care settings
• Prior experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care setting preferred
• DOT certification preferred; if not currently held, must obtain within 6 months of hire

• Obtain adequate patient history and perform appropriate physical examinations for presenting problems
• Order pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on initial evaluation
• Make therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on gathered information
• Administer appropriate medications or treatments as necessary
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing, stitching, stapling, incision and drainage when necessary
