The primary objective of this position is to assure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, cost‑effective, and appropriate nursing care for patients across the age continuum in accordance with established hospital policy and nursing practice standards. Under minimum supervision, the RN directs and/or provides professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric. The RN utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, may supervise and guide other team members, and, in the absence of a manager, may make decisions affecting the inpatient unit.

- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
- Current and active RN license in the State of North Carolina required
- Must be able to communicate and understand the English language both verbally and in writing
- BLS certification required at hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of employment
