Carver Living Center – Durham, NC

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Weekend On-Call Rotation

Position Summary

As the Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit while ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. You will lead, mentor, and support nursing staff while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit
  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality resident care
  • Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
  • Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance
  • Support staff development and employee engagement
  • Participate in the weekend on-call rotation
Qualifications

Required

  • Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) facility
  • Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey readiness
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
