NP/PA Heart Failure Opportunity in Tarboro, NC

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Heart & Vascular
- Tarboro are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Heart Failure practice. The Heart Failure Clinic is located within the ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic located in Tarboro, North Carolina which offers 12 specialties and subspecialties. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP. At least 2 years of provider experience, preferably in acute, chronic, or advanced heart failure management, is preferred.

Tarboro is located 30 miles northwest of Greenville, NC (population 90,000) and 75 miles east of Raleigh, NC.

Opportunity Highlights
  • Employment by ECU Health Physicians
  • Outpatient only position
  • Schedule:

    Monday, Wednesday, and Friday-8am-5pm and Thursdays-8am-1pm
  • No call
  • Established team of 1 physician and 1 Advanced Practice Provider
  • Clinical responsibilities will include evaluation and management of heart failure patients, coordination of patient and family care needs
  • Ability to work independently with limited daily physician supervision
  • Clinic equipped with an onsite ICAEL accredited cardiovascular lab
  • Inpatient support provided by nearby East Carolina Heart Institute and ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital
  • ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
