NP/PA Resistant Hypertension Opportunity in Greenville, NC
ECU Health Physicians and The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established cardiology program in Greenville, North Carolina. The successful candidate will help develop and support a new resistant hypertension clinic. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP.
At least two years of provider experience, preferably in cardiology, is required.
- Employment by ECU Health Physicians
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, home to The East Carolina Heart Institute
- Established cardiology practice inclusive of 20 physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers
- Primarily outpatient clinical care with some cross over to the inpatient service as needed
- Schedule options include(4) 10-hour shifts or (5) 8- hour shifts per week
- No Call
- Optional weekend inpatient shifts available for extra income
- Patient mix will include resistant hypertension and standard cardiology patients
- Opportunity to develop protocols and pathways for resistant hypertension patients that will feed into a new renal denervation procedure program
- 29-county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
