Professionals in these roles drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction within organizations.
Discipline DescriptionQuality Assurance personnel develop policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. They ensure products, services, or processes meet established quality standards and customer requirements. They develop, assure, and maintain the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures, and quality audits/reviews.
Some Typical Duties &Responsibilities Include:
- Quality procedure generation and revisions associated with the SRPPF project.
- Direct input into the Project Specific Quality Assurance Program and review of Supplier Quality Assurance Programs.
- Assisting with Internal Audits, Assessments and investigation and closer of Commitment Tracking Items.
- Working closely with the Director and Deputy Director in the generation of Internal and External reports.
- Operating as Cognizant Quality Function in support of these responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least ten years of experience, OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience, OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience.
- Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered.
- Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance for Nuclear Facility Application.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Security Clearance InformationSRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
