Position schedule: 2nd shift. The schedule for this position can be either Tues‑Fri 2PM to midnight OR Mon‑Fri 2PM to 10PM (dependent on applicant preference). There is a rotational on‑call schedule for weekends for this position.
Must be available to work day shift while training for approximately 6months.
About This RoleThe Sr Tech II performs corrective and preventative calibrations on manufacturing and laboratory analytical instrumentation with limited supervision. Supports manufacturing and laboratory personnel in the use, maintenance, and repair of on‑site instrumentation and test equipment. Supports Validation and engineering activities when called upon. Authors changes to procedures and job plans when required.

- Performs unscheduled corrective calibrations and repairs
- Installs new instrumentation
- Provides engineering and validation support
- Authors changes to procedures, job plans, and LOTO safety forms

Required Skills- Education and experience:
- High school diploma with 3 years experience
- Military or ISA Certified with 2 years experience
- Associates Degree (I&C or Eng) with 2 years experience
- Bachelor’s (I&C or Eng) with 1 year experience
- Must have prior experience working in a GMP environment
- Experience with troubleshooting / investigating instrumentation and control issues
- Knowledge of and experience with computerized maintenance management systems
- Ability to climb ladders and crawl into tight spaces to service equipment
- Ability to move / lift equipment up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in cleanroom areas while wearing required gowning for up to 70% of the shift
- Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time
- Working knowledge of equipment in the biotech/pharma industry
Entry Level
Additional InformationThe base compensation range for this role is: $31.25 – $40.87. Base salary is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, job location, and internal equity. Regular employees are eligible to receive both short‑term and long‑term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
