** About the Role
** Voltage is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality systems, compliance, and customer quality initiatives within our high-volume wire harness and cable assembly manufacturing facility. In this role, you will own site-wide quality performance while building and developing a high-performing team. You’ll play a critical role in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement as the facility scales.##
** What You’ll Do
*** Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS).
* Establish and track quality objectives aligned with business goals.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, customer requirements, and internal standards.
* Oversee quality documentation, traceability systems, and record management.
* Manage core quality methodologies including PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and CAPA.
* Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection operations.
* Ensure process control across critical manufacturing processes including crimping, welding, molding, and harness assembly.
* Support new product introduction (NPI), validation, and production readiness.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality matters.
* Lead customer complaint investigations and implement corrective actions.
* Manage audits, including internal, customer, and third-party assessments.
* Develop, lead, and mentor Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and Inspectors.
* Drive root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, yield improvement, and cost of quality.
* Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to improve quality performance and scalability.##
** What We’re Looking For
*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* 5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing.
* Proven experience building, leading, and developing quality teams.
* Experience in wire & cable, harness assembly, or similar manufacturing environments preferred.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
* Expertise in PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
* Experience supporting OEM or automotive customers preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).##
