Quality Control Biochemistry Associate II

Overview:
The Quality Control Biochemistry Associate II is responsible for contributing to key functional, tactical, strategic and operational aspects of the large molecule testing for the Biochemistry group.

Location: Durham, North Carolina

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $34 - 37 per hour

Work Hours: 9 to 5

Education: Bachelors

• Perform in-process, release testing, method transfer, validation testing, and related activities associated with this testing.
• Perform testing of pH, Appearance, Osmolality, and Protein Concentration (UV, RI, and SoloVPE).
• Apply foundational knowledge of the Company Quality Systems in daily support functions.
• Ensure adherence to all GLP/GMP requirements, interface with Quality and manufacturing as applicable, and support investigations impacting the QC department.
• Work effectively within the group, within Quality and across site.
• Possess solid and robust written and verbal communication skills.

• B.S. Degree (Science Preferred)
• 2+ years of relevant experience (M.S. degree) or 3+ years of relevant experience (B.S. degree)
