Summer Research Cyber Policy – Administrative Intern

Job Title:

Administrative Intern Be You. At Duke, we celebrate individuality and the unique perspectives each member of our community brings. As the Summer Research Cyber policy – Administrative Intern, you'll be part of the Cyber Policy Program's collaborative research environment, contributing to projects that explore cybersecurity and public policy challenges. This role is designed for graduating students who are continuing research initiatives begun during the academic year.

Be Bold. You'll build on existing work, translate research into clear deliverables, and collaborate with program leaders and peers to advance impactful scholarship.

What You'll Do:

  • Complete and advance ongoing research projects initiated during the academic year
  • Prepare research briefs, reports, and presentations for academic and program use
  • Provide administrative support related to the creation and refinement of course syllabi
  • Collaborate with Cyber Policy Program staff and research team members
  • Manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines

What You'll Bring:

  • Education & Experience:

    Recently graduated or graduating student, with prior experience in the Cyber Policy Program
  • Demonstrated experience conducting academic or policy-oriented research
  • Skills &

    Qualifications:

    Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity policy issues and current research methodologies

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $18.00 to USD $22.84.
