Purpose: The Scholar will work closely with teams employing bioconjugate chemistry and protein engineering toward the discovery of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs) and related modalities.
You will be responsible for:
- Implement new project ideas (design and execution of studies, analysis of data, presentation of results).
- Collaborate with team members and other groups to advance the projects.
- Keep abreast of new technologies/capabilities relevant to this role and strive to implement them to advance research projects.
- Author data summaries, publications, and presentations.
Education: Minimum of a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or other related field is required.
Experience / Skills
- Experience with display technology is required.
- Familiarity with antibody structure and function, experience in antibody engineering and/or antibody drug conjugates preferred
- Experience with protein biochemistry, protein expression, protein purification, bioconjugation methods, and/or biophysical characterization is preferred
- Experience with biomolecule purification using automated chromatography systems is preferred.
- Applicant should be organized, self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.
- Interest and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and capable of handling multiple tasks
- A solid research record demonstrated by publications and/or presentations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
