The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is seeking faculty members (open rank) to join our Mood and Anxiety Program to help advance our research mission. Successful candidates will have a strong record of external research funding or, for more junior applicants, a high potential for external funding. The role involves advancing an externally funded program of research, publishing, mentoring, and committee participation.

Responsibilities
  • Advance an externally funded program of research.
  • Publish research in high quality peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
  • Mentor trainees across levels of academic development.
  • Participate in division, department, college, and university committees and initiatives.
  • Develop, lead, or substantially contribute to clinical, education, and research programs.
Qualifications
  • Strong record of external research funding or, for more junior applicants, a high potential for external funding.
  • Expertise in developing, leading, or substantially contributing to clinical, education, and research programs.
  • Expertise in randomized clinical trial designs, neuromodulation, interventional psychiatry, or personalized treatment approaches is particularly encouraged.
  • Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Clinical licensure (Ph.D. or M.D.) expected where consistent with degree; a Ph.D. in a related field may be considered if clinically oriented and committed to training.
  • Experience in mood‑ and anxiety‑related psychopathology research.
  • Evidence of mentoring and teaching experience.
