Predictive Toxicologist

Essential Responsibilities

• Organizing and providing oversight to internal and external meetings including project meetings, forums/workshops, and conferences
• Develop, write, and edit scientific and technical documents, including workshop reports and scientific manuscripts for publication
• Identification, collection and organization of all available information on alternative toxicological assays including literature and internet searches of public access databases
• Evaluation of statistical data
• Presenting information in public forums
• Providing support to commercial safety assessment projects

• Technical writing and editing
• Work in a team environment with a professional and positive attitude
• Other duties as needed

Education:

• B.S. in a related scientific field (preferably toxicology)
• M.S. in a related scientific field (preferably toxicology)

Experience:

• 4+ years in scientific writing and editing (preferably toxicology)
• 1+ years in scientific writing and editing (preferably toxicology)

Skills:

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong, proven technical writing and editing skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Function well independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Computer skills with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• Aptitude or willingness to learn basic coding (such as R or Python) for data organization and pipeline automation.
