Position Summary
The Analytical Chemist is responsible for performing quality testing using analytical testing methods. The role supports R&D formulation development, quality control, manufacturing, and regulatory registration activities while ensuring compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze raw materials, intermediates, technical active ingredients, and finished formulations.
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
- Conduct stability studies and evaluate product shelf-life.
- Review and interpret analytical data and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure accurate laboratory documentation and data integrity.
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for new products and formulations.
- Perform method validation and verification activities.
- Support analytical method transfers to QC and manufacturing laboratories.
- Troubleshoot analytical methods and laboratory instruments.
- Support formulation development projects through analytical characterization.
- Conduct compatibility, stability, and degradation studies.
- Generate analytical data for product development and registration programs.
- Collaborate with formulation scientists, process chemists, and regulatory teams.
- Perform routine maintenance of analytical instruments and maintain instrument records.
- Follow ISO, EPA, CIPAC, FAO, and company standards.
- Support preparation of analytical documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, protocols, and reports.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Agricultural Chemistry, or related field. Or 5+ years of analytical laboratory experience in agrochemical, pesticide, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.
- 3+ years of working experiences with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
