  • Research Track Record:
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, evidenced by a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Advanced Analytics:
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, JMP, or SAS) for biological data analysis.
  • Technical Proficiency:
Expert-level experience in designing insect bioassays and handling delicate hemipteran species.
  • Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex scientific concepts to varied audiences.
  • Problem-Solving:
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex biological systems and experimental hurdles.

Desired:

  • Experience with molecular techniques in an insect research context.
  • Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and automated liquid handling/robotics.
  • Knowledge of plant‑insect interactions and trait delivery mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with various microscopy techniques (confocal, SEM, or digital imaging analysis).
