Position Summary
Responsible for supporting process development activities for downstream production processes, instruments and equipment.
Position Responsibilities- Support all downstream process development activities including execution of experiments, compilation and analysis of data and drafting of technical documents.
- Assist in the evaluation, development and implementation of new downstream technologies leading to process improvements and efficiency of operation.
- Assist with development of preliminary schedules along with material/personnel/equipment requirements to allow accurate and appropriate performance guarantees
- Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- General lab organization
- B.S. degree in biotechnology or related (or equivalent training) with 0-4 years experience or a M.S. degree with 0-2 years experience.
- Research Associate II requires a B.S. degree and 2+ years experience or a M.S. degree.
- Experience with downstream process development and chromatography equipment required.
- Excellent written and communication skills for customer service and ability to meet strict client deadlines.
- Flexibility of hours to support downstream processes.
- Knowledge of GMPs and biotechnology-derived product regulations preferred.
