Position Summary

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through follow recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.

It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate as a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members and be flexible to team needs to work in other areas.
  • Operate as an Expert: Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; follow recipes; wrap, label, and store merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
  • Act as a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandising, training, and product quality.
  • Assume Owner Responsibilities: Maintain commitment to operational excellence; keep work area per company policies; uphold quality and date control standards; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
  • Serve as a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing member experience; model high‑quality service and products; execute basics at highest level.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to and learn from change.
Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00 (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location).

Additional compensation: premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
