Retail Community Lead

The Floor Lead leads the retail sales team by example, forging connections with customers and communicating Vuori’s brand values through insightful product knowledge and a positive outlook. As a key member of the store leadership team, the Floor Lead supervises the floor, delegates work, and acts as the go‑to person under the Store Manager’s direction. The role includes assisting with all leadership duties and working directly with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

• Works with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best experience possible.
• Takes ownership of the sales floor and sales team to prioritize customer experience.
• Prepares fitting rooms, finds sizes, and provides honest, knowledgeable feedback to customers on merchandise style and fit.
• Forges lasting relationships with customers, engaging them about product details, new releases, and upcoming events.
• Stays informed about new and best‑selling items and shares that knowledge with customers and the team.

• Leads the team on day‑to‑day operations when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent.
• Motivates the sales team and achieves sales goals in a team‑based commission structure.
• Expands product knowledge across the fashion landscape and active‑wear to serve as an expert for customers.
• Guides the team in completing projects while maintaining focus on customer experience.
• Communicates inventory needs to support business goals.

• Collaborates with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community initiatives, and team management.
• Leads the team in daily store maintenance, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleaning.
• Ensures strict adherence to protocol and safety standards in daily store closing/opening.
• Encourages employees to give 100%, adhere to punctuality, and fulfill role responsibilities at all times.

• Available for morning and/or evening eight‑hour shifts, five days a week, and at least one weekend day.
• Demonstrates punctuality and a strong attendance record.
• Builds relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Creates experiences and handles customer concerns positively and proactively.
• Prioritizes multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Hourly range for this role: $19/hr – $21/hr, plus team pooled commission.
