We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Manager to take ownership of daily communications with potential customers. In this role, you will build robust project pipelines, finalize outgoing quotes, and help drive our content strategy on Linked In. You will also play a crucial role in formulating our yearly sales and marketing plans, working closely with management to ensure our ambitious sales goals are achieved.

Our U.S. office, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is home to engineering, project support, after-market service, administration, marketing, and equipment/parts sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop thorough prospect knowledge and secure appointments via cold calls, networking, and our existing pipeline.
- Attend trade shows and conventions to promote our technology and increase market awareness.
- Collaborate closely with technical partners and the engineering team to qualify potential leads.
- Actively nurture the sales pipeline and prepare compelling sales presentations for engineering groups and potential clients.
- Maintain accurate prospect records using our customer relationship database (Copper) or other internal documentation.
- Submit weekly status reports detailing your sales activities.
- Prepare detailed quotes and proposals, coordinate and maintain accurate cost sheets, and manage customer negotiations through sales closure.
- Verify and approve new orders for accuracy and compliance with pricing and contractual terms.
- Monitor competitive conditions, maintaining current knowledge of competitor pricing, services, and sales methods.
- Foster strong relationships with current and past customers by providing prompt responses and strategic recommendations.
- Advise management on actionable marketing strategies based on analyzed marketplace data.
- Prepare annual marketing plans and comprehensive sales forecasts.
- Develop monthly action plans and report regularly on sales progress.
- Actively participate in website improvements, literature updates, and Linked In social media post creation.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the Fine Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Capital Equipment Purchasing and/or Marketing/Sales.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- An MBA is considered a strong plus.
- Ability to travel 60%–70%, both domestically and internationally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside proficiency in MS Office products.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
